Depression [When and Where To Get Help]
Unfortunately, I don't really have any handouts regarding this information. All of us were being provided help by simply being in the Psychiatric Hospital and therefor it really wasn't information that they felt we needed. However, I can try and help guide you if you are uncertain by teaching you about when you really need help and what to expect after accepting it.

We'll begin with the levels of stress.
[Low Stress]
Lvl 1 - Relaxed, No apparent stress
Lvl 2 - Very Minor Stress, managed well
Lvl 3 - Normal Stress, no
This journal is going to come from a worksheet that really helped me a lot. It doesn't have a title itself, so I would call it "16 Things" They are things that you can make a resolve to do or start doing in order to to achieve a better you. Better mental health.
1. Start Spending Time With The Right People
These are people that you enjoy, who love and appreciate you, and who encourage you to improve in healthy ways. They make you feel more alive, embrace who you are now and embody who you want to be, unconditionally.

"Cognitive distortions are simply ways that our mind convinces us of something that isn't really true. These inaccurate thoughts are usually used to reinforce negative thinking or emotions — telling ourselves things that sound rational and accurate, but really only serve to keep us feeling bad about ourselves."
Here is a list of some Cognitive distortions that you may be able to recognize. Being able to recognize these behaviors will lead to your conscious decision to avoid doing them in the future. Lets begin.

It's been a while since I really thought about any of this stuff, but the idea for writing a journal with all of this information actually stemmed from the fact that I myself became irritated with the youth on this site and how whiny or pathetic they were. I know- what a dick move. But I kind of realized it wasn't necessarily their fault at all. Nobody had taken the time to try and educate themselves or others about their depression.
